What Are The Documents Required for Japan Visa

Japan Visa Application Form

The most crucial document in the Japan visa application process is the application form where you need to fill in the required details. You can get the application by visiting the official website of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You can also download the application form by clicking here. After downloading the form you need to fill it out electronically providing all the relevant and real details.

Details like your name, passport, occupation, nationality, previous travel history, travel itinerary, sponsor details and others are required by the visa authority which you need to fill in the form.

After filling in all your details, attaching the documents and paying the fee, you can submit your application form and you need to download it and carry it with you whenever required, like during your interview with the immigration authority. Please note that citizens eligible for an on-arrival Japan visa are not required to apply for the visit visa as their passport is stamped at the Airport.

Your Passport

A passport is also an essential document for applying for a Japan visa. You need to have a passport from your country that is valid for at least the next 6 months. You need to have photocopies of the pages of your passport’s issue and expiry date and your personal information.
