Book the Dubai Islands Sunset Tour Self Drive Boat to experience a 75-minute adventure on a Hero boat under the supervision of a skilled instructor. Begin your tour by arriving at the mentioned meeting point at Umm Suqeim. You will meet your guide and will be escorted by him to the Hero headquarters. From there, you will be taken on a short stroll of the harbour where you can observe native fisherfolk, fishing boats, fishing dhows called ‘lanshs’ and the fish market carrying on the legacy of UAE’s fishing history. Put on the provided life jacket and listen to the quick safety briefing. You will then be assigned to your Hero boat and allowed to take the boat out on a test spin. Follow your guide out of the harbour and cruise along Kite beach to absorb the holiday atmosphere in a beach that offers everything from kayaking to kite surfing. Head towards Burj Al Arab for a photo stop and continue to the World Islands territory to observe a stunning sunset from the sea. After a selfie or two head back to Dubai and observe the lit-up skyline en route. Arrival at Location

Arrive at the meeting point by hailing a taxi or using public transport. The meeting point is the Fishing Harbour 2 in Umm Suqeim. You can also book a transfer with us for an additional cost. If you book a transfer a chauffeur will pick you up from your location in Dubai and drop you at the Meeting point by private car.

During the tour

After arriving at the meeting point, you will meet our guides and be escorted to the departure point. Roam the harbour to know more about UAE’s fishing history. You will then receive a safety briefing and the chance to take the Hero boat on a test spin. Once you are thorough with the skills, follow your guide into the water. You will ride along the entire length of Dubai’s kite beach. Continue towards the Burj Al Arab.When sunset time nears arrive at The World Islands and observe the sunset. Return back to the harbour at Dubai and view the lit skyline on the way. Taste freshly caught prawns dressed with a garlic lemon butter dressing and served with a glass of sparkling date juice. Collect your Hero Certificate to celebrate the end of an exciting adventure.

Depart from Location

After your tour is over you can return back by taxi or public transport. If you have booked a transfer with us, you will be dropped back at your hotel by your chauffeur in a private vehicle.
