01 Do I need a visa to go to China ?

Citizens of the following countries enjoy visa-free entry to mainland China for up to 30 days upon arrival from Dubai :

Armenia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador, Tonga, United Arab Emirates, Seychelles, Serbia, San Marino, Qatar, Maldives, Grenada, Fiji, Mauritius

For all other nationalities, it is necessary to apply for a stamped visit visa for China from Dubai. Travelers can choose between the two types, which are L visa and M visa depending on their purpose of visit.

02 Types of China visit Visas

China Visit Visa (L-visa)

The China Visit Visa, known as the L-visa, is granted to individuals planning a trip to mainland China for tourism purposes.

China Business Visa (M-visa)

The China Business Visa, referred to as the M-visa, is specifically designed for those who have intentions to engage in commercial and trade activities in China.

03Documents required

a) What are the documents required for China L- Visit Visa?

1. Original Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months and at least 4 blank VISA pages). If you hold multiple nationalities, please provide all relevant passports
2. Two Photographs with a white background
3. Passport, Emirates ID, and UAE resident permit with a validity of at least 6 months
4. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your UAE sponsor
5. Round-trip flight booking and hotel reservation. The check-in and check-out dates should correspond with the flight booking. Arooha will assist you with this
6. Valid or recently expired China visa or China residency permit (if applicable)

b) What are the documents required for the China M- Business Visa?

We have prepared a checklist of the documents needed to fulfill the China visa requirements from UAE. Our global visa consultant will be available to assist you in obtaining any additional necessary documents. Please review the following checklist :

1. Original Passport: The passport should have a minimum validity of 6 months and contain at least 4 blank visa pages. If you hold multiple nationalities, please provide all relevant passports
2. Two Photographs: Please provide two photographs with a white background
3. Passport, Emirates ID, UAE Resident Permit: These documents should have a validity of at least 6 months
4. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Employer: Please obtain an NOC from your employer in the UAE
5. Round Trip Flight Booking and Hotel Booking: Ensure that the check-in and check-out dates match the flight booking. Arooha will assist you with this
6. Invitation Letter from the China Inviter's Company: The invitation letter should include the company letterhead, company address, telephone number, company stamp, inviter's signature, and a future travel date
7. Trade License of the China Inviter's Company: Please provide the trade license of the company that is inviting you to China
8. TE Invitation Letter or Verification of Invitation: If applicable, please send us your passport copy to confirm if you need to provide TE (Verification of Invitation) issued by the Chinese local foreign affairs office
9. Still Valid or Recently Expired China Visa or Residency Permit: If you have a valid or recently expired China visa or residency permit, please include it with your application

Please note that certain nationalities may require a letter of verification for both tourist and business visas issued by the Chinese local foreign affairs office. To confirm the specific requirements for your nationality, please share a copy of the applicant's passport with an Arooha representative.
